Germantown Commons is a cohousing community of 25 households celebrating community and sustainability. We choose to live lighter on the earth and know our neighbors.

Small, energy efficient homes, rain gardens and edible landscaping top the list of sustainable features. Members gather for meals, parties, meetings and other events in the 2,400 sq.ft. common house. This shared community space features a dining room, kitchen, living room with stone fireplace, screened-in porch, mailroom, laundry room, meeting spaces, and a playroom. Other amenities include two furnished guest rooms and full bath, which residents may reserve.

A multi-generational development with 25 privately owned homes, Germantown Commons is designed to create a nurturing environment while balancing privacy and community.

Come to the 2017 National Cohousing Conference. We’d love to tell you more!
